Safety Mats
Safety Category
A full range of safety light curtains, designed to guard a point of
operation or a perimeter area around a machine. Utilizing the
through-beam principle of photoelectric sensors, safety light
curtains use multiple infrared beams to protect operators from
dangerous conditions. When any of the beams are broken, a
stop signal is sent to the machine via the safety controller. Type
2 and type 4 rated models available, in finger, hand, and
body resolutions. Additional features include EDM, blanking,
muting, cascading, and automatic or manual start/reset.
Safety modules for reliable control
of various safety devices. Provides
interface between safety device and
machinery. Modules are tailored for
the following applications: E-stop
and safety gates, two hand con-
trols, safety light curtains, safety
mats, safety gates, standstill mon-
itors, and elevator cabin/lift level
control. Extension modules are also
available to expand the number of
safety contacts available, without
compromising the safety rating.
Safety mat system is used to provide operator protection in dangerous
areas, without restricting operator movement. The pressure sensitive mats
are custom fit to each application, to guarantee the best possible coverage.
When used with the appropriate Carlo Gavazzi safety module, comprises a
safety category 3 system.
