IMPORTANT: if the address is 00 (zero) all the instruments connected to the network will execute
the command but won’t send an answer frame.
If the request frame contains an invalid function, the answer frame will be an “exception response”.

UDM and USC manage two different memory areas addressed as follows.

1.4 UDM AND USC IDENTIFICATION CODE
Every Carlo Gavazzi instrument is identified by means of a code in order to recognise the type of the
instrument via serial communication.
The UDM and USC family codes are:
- 1Ah LSX and LSE module
- 1Bh HSX module
- 1Ch TRX module.
These codes can be read with the following fixed frame:
